Participant information & Consent

Topic: Why do therapists need therapy?

I am exploring therapists’ experiences and perspectives around their own wellbeing, personal therapy, and the potential benefits or challenges of therapists accessing therapy themselves.

Taking part is completely voluntary. The questionnaire at the bottom of this page> Research asks some of my burning questions. You may skip any question you do not wish to answer. You can also become apart of the team by signing for membership access.. yes for free... forever : )

Please do not include any information that could identify your clients or other individuals in your responses.

Your responses will be treated confidentially and used for the purposes of this research. Where responses or quotations are used in any research outputs, they will be anonymised so that you cannot reasonably be identified.

Some questions may ask about personal experiences, mental health or therapy. You are not required to disclose anything you are uncomfortable sharing.

Your responses will be stored securely and will only be accessed by the researcher. Data will be retained for a year and then securely deleted or anonymised.

Please note that once responses have been anonymised, it may not be possible to identify or remove your individual response.

By selecting and COMMENTTING “I consent” below, you confirm that:

• You are aged 18 or over.

• You have read and understood the information above.

• You understand that participation is voluntary.

• You consent to your responses being collected and used for this research.

• You understand that anonymised quotations may be used in research outputs.
